Asia Dengue Summit 2016 & ADVA4 Regional Workshop

The Asia Dengue Summit 2016 will address various topics on the debilitating dengue including the current status of dengue, its management, and methods for successful vaccine introduction across the region. This meeting will include clinician scientists, dengue infectious disease experts from MOH from the 10 ASEAN countries, regional World Health Organisation (WHO) staff, Partnership for Dengue Control – Fondation Mérieux (PDC-FM), Asian Dengue Vaccination Advocacy (ADVA), Dengue Vaccine Initiative (DVI), the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organisation (SEAMEO) and The International Vaccine Institute (IVI), among others.

The 4th ADVA regional workshop will build on the proceedings from the Asia Dengue Summit. There will be discussions on recent updates in dengue vaccines development and assessment of the programmatic issues surrounding a potential program. These discussions will be based on the Chatham House Rule. The members will then discuss on working a draft of the outcomes from this discussion.
